PRIVACY NOTICE

Privacy Policy

This notice explains how DiamondQuests collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information for athlete journeys and the operating-platform pilot.

Effective July 20, 2026

Who operates DiamondQuests

DiamondQuests is operated by Daniel Delgado in Kentucky. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to admin@diamondquests.com.

Who may create an account

  • Adults may create or use their own approved accounts.
  • Athletes ages 13–17 may begin private onboarding with guardian permission. Their athlete connection remains pending until the invited parent or legal guardian accepts.
  • Children under 13 may not self-register. The browser does not submit their completed self-onboarding form to DiamondQuests; a parent or legal guardian must begin through a separate parent-first process.
  • Authorized adults may provide information about youth athletes when operating a team, organization, event, or guardian-managed athlete profile.

Information athletes and guardians provide

  • Athlete name, email, date of birth, sports interests, and selected goals.
  • For athletes ages 13–17, the invited guardian’s email address and the guardian’s decision about the connection.
  • Identity-claim requests and prior-season history entered manually or supplied through supported uploads.
  • Guardian relationships, access decisions, corrections, deletion requests, and communications with us.

Do not provide unnecessary medical information, government identifiers, passwords, or sensitive identity documents unless DiamondQuests specifically requests an appropriate secure method.

Information organizations and operators provide

  • Adult contact, authentication, invitation, role, organization, team, program, and access-scope information.
  • Athlete roster, participation, season, game, practice, and achievement information supplied by authorized adults or compatible source systems.
  • Source evidence, review decisions, corrections, publication history, and audit records.
  • Access requests, support messages, and general inquiries.

Technical information

We and our service providers process basic device, browser, network, authentication, security, and service-event information needed to deliver, protect, troubleshoot, and maintain DiamondQuests. We do not use athlete information for targeted advertising.

How we use information

We use information to age-screen onboarding, authenticate users, obtain and record guardian decisions, resolve athlete identities, reconstruct and review history, operate teams and programs, evaluate achievements, limit access, secure the service, provide support, investigate misuse, correct records, and improve the pilot.

Private onboarding and visibility

A submitted athlete journey is private by default. Self-reported and uploaded history is not automatically verified or public. Minor athlete connections remain pending until guardian acceptance. Visibility may later depend on guardian choices, approved roles, team assignments, organizational scope, and review status.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We disclose information only as needed to operate and secure DiamondQuests, complete an authorized action, comply with law, or protect participants and the service. Current service providers include Supabase for database and authentication services, Vercel for hosting, and SendGrid for email delivery.

Guardian and user choices

A parent or legal guardian may accept or decline a pending connection and may ask to review, correct, export, restrict, or delete information associated with their child. Adult users may make similar requests for their own information. We may verify identity and authority before acting.

Retention

We retain information only while reasonably needed for onboarding, account access, athlete history, team or program operations, security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. Declined, abandoned, or unnecessary onboarding information may be deleted or de-identified. Valid deletion requests are honored unless limited retention is reasonably necessary; temporary copies may remain in backups or security records.

Security

We use role-scoped access, private onboarding states, authentication controls, and audit-oriented records designed to protect athlete information. No online system is perfectly secure. Report an incorrect athlete link, exposed record, or compromised account promptly.

Requests and contact

Email admin@diamondquests.com to request access, correction, export, restriction, deletion, or guardian review. Do not send sensitive documents by ordinary email unless we specifically request them through a secure process.

Changes

We may update this policy as DiamondQuests changes. We will update the effective date when changes are material and provide additional notice where appropriate.
